With a convenient location, flexible hours, staff that treat you like family, and state-of-the-art technology, we work with you and your family to ensure that you have a lifetime of optimal dental health.

Our gentle dental cleanings and procedures reduce nervousness as we offer dental sedation (with nitrous oxide) so you can relax. Oh, and don’t worry, you’ll be able to safely drive yourself home afterwards.

Sensitive teeth? Learn how to reduce sensitivity.

We recommend two professional cleanings a year (every six months).

Dental sealants

At Rasmussen Dental, we make sure your children’s smiles are at their best after every visit. One way we accomplish this is with dental sealants.

Dental sealants are a special type of coating painted on teeth that is nearly invisible. It helps prevent cavities and the related shots, fillings, and multiple trips to the dentist (even though we love to see you). Dental sealants for children only take a few minutes and are completely painless.

Plus, most insurance packages cover sealants at 100%!

Tooth Colored Fillings

Because many people don't want an ugly black or silver metal filling in their mouth (which can also cause tooth decay later on), Rasmussen Dental offers state-of-the-art restorations that are a natural-looking color. Our fillings don’t contain metals and can actually strengthen your teeth! As an added bonus, our fillings are bonded very tightly with the healthy part of the tooth, so there is much less chance of decay in the future.

What are you waiting for? Replace your unsightly silver fillings with tooth-colored composite fillings today!

Root canals

Yes, we know the last thing you want to hear are the words “Root Canal”. However, we have good news for you — Dr. Rasmussen is an expert in endodontics and with the modern anesthetics and technology we use, our team makes getting a root canal quite tolerable, even painless!

Here at Rasmussen Dental, we practice gentle dentistry and offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which will help you relax during your experience.

What are Root Canals and Why Would I Need One?

When dental decay reaches the nerve of the tooth (or the tooth has become infected), a simple filling will not suffice. A root canal can save the tooth by removing the pulp of a tooth and replacing it with a filling material.

3D imaging & external X-ray

To make your check-ups even more enjoyable, we utilize 3D imaging and external X-Ray for a painless, gentle dentistry experience.

This is especially great for small children or for people who tend to gag with inserts in their mouth. Plus, it’s a quick process, too!

Our external X-rays use a digital sensor which immediately uploads the images into our computer. And, as an added bonus, this method results in 90% less radiation than conventional X-rays! No more waiting for images to develop and no more chemical waste to pollute the environment.

As experts in gentle dentistry, we’re always looking for ways to make our patients’ experiences more enjoyable.

For adults and children over 88 pounds who may need some anesthetic, Rasmussen Dental is one of the first to offer KOVANAZE (tetracaine HCl and oxymetazoline HCl). Kovanaze is a painless, FDA approved topical anesthetic nasal spray designed to numb the upper teeth before procedures. That means NO NEEDLES!

“I went to Rasmussen Dental for a Crown Procedure and received the nasal spray for numbness. It was SO much better than an injection!

No needles, no fat lip! And the nasal spray left no bad side effects in the nostril. This is the way to go :)”
